Kisumu gets ready for a thrilling Basket Ball Tournament weekend

Adrenaline is already running high as Kisumu gears up to host the fifth edition of the annual Biro Lich Mashujaa Day Basketball tournament at Jomo Kenyatta Sports ground in Kisumu this weekend. The sensational event scheduled for Saturday and Sunday 20-21st October is expected to bring together teams from different parts of the nation with strong history of rivalry.

So far the teams that have confirmed their participations include USIU, Strathmore University, KPA, Maweni Berrets, Equity Bank and Kenya Coast National Polytechnic, kisii University .

Also expected are the Ulinzi Warriors, Busia Raptors and Bay Lakers All Stars. Various schools around the region will also attend.

African Nazarene University, UoN, Egerton University, Nebulaz, Balozi, Thunders are expected to confirm their attendance in due course.

This years’ edition will enjoy a strong partnership and support from Kenya Basket Ball Federation and is expected not only to promote basketball and but also to nurture talents.

Other than Pacho 360 hoops which is the key organizer, the 2 day tournament has received invaluable good will from various entities including  Safarilink, Equator bottlers Ltd (CCBA Kisumu).,AAR healthcare, Golden Entertainment, Skylark, Kicens Sports, Silverstone, Jamii Telekom Limited, Lake Dental Clinic, Webba Sports, Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya, Club da place, Club Barcadia, Creative natives,
